OUR HERITAGE
At
Bollman Funeral Home and Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center, meeting community
needs is more than our commitment; it's a source of pride and
direction, guiding our service through the years.
Located
in the heart of the Willamette Valley are two locally owned funeral
homes steeped in a tradition of upholding the highest professional
standards with a commitment of excellence in meeting the needs of the
families we serve.
A Time Honored Tradition
The
Bollman tradition of quality funeral service dates back to 1890 - the
year C.H. Chapman and son Robert founded the firm. The Chapman family
had served as leaders in the funeral profession since 1854. In 1929
C.W. Henkle purchased the firm while working with J. Paul Bollman who
would take over the business in 1934. Thus began a legacy of service by
the Bollman family.
As
the son of Dr. L.A. Bollman, an established medical doctor, J. Paul
Bollman always wanted to serve the community, as did his father.
Continuing Bollman Funeral Home's tradition of quality funeral service
while meeting the community's growing needs was J. Paul Bollman's
direction. Bollman service had to outshine all others.
Serving Our Community
In
1966 the Bollman family purchased Dallas Mortuary Chapel, located at
287 SW Washington Street in Dallas. Wanting to meet the growing needs
of our community, Dallas Mortuary Chapel offers families a contemporary
facility with expanded services including Sunset Crematory, located on
site at Dallas Mortuary Chapel, along with Heritage Monument Company,
which provides families with a complete selection of granite and bronze
markers - all at one location.
Four Generations
The
high standard of professional, caring service set by J. Paul Bollman
and his father has since sparked the service desire in two more
generations of the Bollman family. J. Paul Bollman's son John and his
wife Beth would serve as funeral directors and today the tradition
continues with their children Michael J. Bollman and Amy Bollman Lowery.
Today,
just as in 1890, Bollman Funeral Home and Dallas Mortuary Chapel are
leaders in funeral service because we care. As a full-service funeral
home, our professionals are here to meet the changing personal needs of
the community we serve.
Commitment of Caring
At
Bollman Funeral Home and Dallas Mortuary Chapel, we understand that a
community is only as good as we make it. As community members
ourselves, we take great pride in our community involvement.
Subscribing to John Bollman's philosophy to always give back, today his
children Michael and Amy continue the commitment established by their
great grandfather; a commitment of caring for their community.
Before, during or after a time of need, our commitment never wavers.
