Obituary for Ilene Veva Stevenson (Quick)

Ilene Stevenson, a resident of Dallas, Oregon died on Wednesday, July 29th. She was born on October 3, 1920 in Hermiston, Oregon the daughter of Ladd and Stella Quick. Ilene married Edward Stevenson on November 5, 1938 in Scio, Oregon. They settled in Dallas, Oregon in 1942. Ed was a self-employed logger in Dallas for 49 years with Stevenson Logging Co. Ilene was the bookkeeper for over 30 years until Ed retired in 1991. Ilene was a great cook. She enjoyed sewing and was an accomplished seamstress. Ilene enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. She loved flower gardening and was always proud of her beautiful yard. Ilene and Ed enjoyed annual trips to Arizona and Mexico to name a few. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed in 1994.

She is survived by her sons, Edward of Newberg, Larry (Robin) of Lacey, Washington, along with grandchildren Lindsay Durham and 1 great grandson Justin Durham.
